Does Kuubiik take a cut of my pay?
No. The fee for using Kuubiik is paid by the employer, not by you. When a company engages you at $5,500/mo, you get the full $5,500 — the employer separately pays Kuubiik for handling contracts, compliance, and payroll. Pro is a small monthly fee you pay directly if you want extra visibility, but it's never deducted from your earnings.
What does the Pro badge actually do?
The Pro badge shows employers that you've paid to be on the platform actively — it signals you're serious about your work. Beyond the badge, Pro gives you priority placement in employer search results, AI-suggested role matches in your inbox each week, the ability to see who viewed your profile, and direct messaging with employers (without waiting for them to message you first).
How do I get paid?
Once you're engaged, your monthly pay lands in your bank account on a fixed date (typically the 28th). We support direct local-currency deposits to 150+ countries. You can choose to be paid via bank transfer, Wise, or PayPal depending on what's available in your region.
Can I have multiple engagements at once?
Yes — you can engage with as many companies as you have time for. Many of our professionals work part-time with 2-3 companies simultaneously. Each engagement has its own contract, rate, and payout schedule, all visible from your dashboard.
What if I want to cancel Pro?
You can cancel anytime from your settings. Your account stays active forever on the Free plan — your profile, applications, engagements, and payment history all remain. You just lose the Pro badge and the visibility extras.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Yes, identity verification is required on both Free and Pro plans — it protects everyone on the platform. We use a quick passport or government ID check that takes about 5 minutes. This is separate from the Pro subscription (which is a paid visibility upgrade on top of identity verification).
