Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-06-17
Kuubiik is a Singapore-based platform that helps companies engage remote professionals globally. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data across the platform. It is governed by Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Who we are
Kuubiik operates an outsourcing services platform. Where talent is placed, Kuubiik acts as the Contractor of Record (COR) or Employer of Record (EOR) depending on the jurisdiction — we are a counter-party to engagements, not a third-party recruitment intermediary.
What we collect
We practise data minimisation: we collect only the personal data needed to operate engagements. Depending on how you use Kuubiik, this may include:
- Account and identity data (name, email, username, password hash).
- Talent profile data (work history, skills, availability, portfolio).
- Identity and compliance documents required for KYC and engagement setup.
- Payment, payout, and tax records for placed talent.
- Usage and device data needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
We use personal data to operate the platform — matching talent to roles, running engagements, processing payouts, meeting compliance obligations, and keeping accounts secure. We record your acceptance of our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, with a version and timestamp, when you sign up.
Sharing talent profiles
Sharing a talent profile with a Company requires consent. We do not expose your profile to employers outside the flows you take part in.
Your rights under PDPA
- Access and correct — view and edit your own data in your portal.
- Export — request a PDPA-compliant export of your data from Settings.
- Deletion — request account deletion from Settings.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for engagement operations and legal obligations. Profile data of unsuccessful applicants and KYC documents follow retention windows that vary by jurisdiction.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to Kuubiik's privacy contact. Final contact details will be published with the approved policy.
